Refund and Returns Policy

Applies to: All transactions on experler.com (including freelance projects and service purchases)

1. General Policy

At experler.com, we strive to maintain a professional, trustworthy environment for both freelancers and employers. As a digital service platform, refunds are limited due to the nature of work being intangible and time-based. However, we offer a clear and fair refund policy to handle disputes and cancellations.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

    • ✅ Employer Cancellation Before Work Starts:
      If the employer cancels the project before the freelancer begins work, a full refund is possible minus the platform’s 10% service fee.
    • ✅ Freelancer Fails to Deliver:
      If the freelancer fails to deliver the agreed scope of work within the deadline, the employer may request a refund partially or fully, depending on progress and communication.
    • ✅ Mutual Agreement:
      If both parties agree to terminate a project early, refunds can be issued based on the delivered portion and time spent.
3. Non-Refundable Cases

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

    • ❌ Work already marked as completed and approved
    • ❌ Payments made outside the platform (violates terms)
    • ❌ Delays due to scope creep or unclear instructions
    • ❌ Disputes without proper evidence (e.g., vague dissatisfaction without documentation)
    • ❌ Digital products or downloadable services once accessed/downloaded
4. Refund Process

The employer must initiate the request via support@experler.com within 5 business days of project closure or dispute.

Our technical review team (led by experienced engineers) will evaluate:

    • Communication history
    • Delivery files
    • Time logs and deadlines
    • If approved, refund will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
5. Partial Refunds

In many cases, partial refunds are more suitable—especially when the freelancer has delivered partial work or spent significant effort. Experler will assess such scenarios case-by-case and ensure fairness to both sides.

6. Platform Commission

All transactions are subject to a 10% platform service fee, which is non-refundable. This fee covers dispute resolution, escrow handling, technical maintenance, and platform security.

7. Installment Payments

If the buyer uses installment payments (offered with interest), refunds will be calculated based on paid installments. Any interest charged by third-party payment providers is non-refundable.

8. Dispute Escalation

If parties cannot reach an agreement, they may escalate the issue to experler.com’s support team.
Our professional resolution team, including technical analysts, will resolve the issue objectively and fairly, based on:

    • Agreement scope
    • Communication records
    • Delivery evidence
    • Decisions made by experler.com are considered final.
9. Policy Changes

We may revise this policy periodically to reflect changes in law or platform operations. You will be notified of any significant updates via email or platform notice.
